Lauren Callen was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She began performing at 13 years old and that  fiery passion set her on a path to become a professional actor. Early adolescent acting lessons led to local auditions where she signed with her first acting agent, following a nationwide voiceover for the Massachusetts Teacher Association for which she is now SAG-AFTRA eligible. This experience sparked a desire to pursue voiceover work. Lauren auditioned and was accepted to the London Dramatic Academy, where she studied classical, restoration and contemporary theatre, working with teachers and directors from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Central School of Speech and Drama. Her demanding training in voice, as well as in movement, provides a grounded foundation for versatility, allowing Lauren to be dauntless and instinctual, ready to take risks and to dive into the text without hesitation or doubt. She is eager to participate in all forms of theatre as well as film, TV, commercial and voiceover work.
